A fort!
I can count on my 2 hands the number of times my mom let me make one. I understand, since it was pretty much up to her to fold the sheets back up. You can't expect a 6-year-old to fold a full sized sheet back up, can you? :)
Materials
- several sheets
- clothes pins
- chairs or other furniture
Now, my oldest was not very excited about it at first, but I think it was because he didn't understand what it would mean. He did get into it though, and both boys ended up playing Thomas the train in the fort.
All-in-all it was a great idea from Mama, and I only have to fold up 2 of the 4 sheets that I got out!
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Oh this brings back memories of both my childhood and our children's childhood. There were lots of time when I came into a room only to find a blanket/sheet fort when our kids were little.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I love those memories of my childhood too.
DeleteGreat fun. My kids ask to make a fort every day. :)
ReplyDeleteForts are awesome! I love that playing the same thing they might play any other day, is so much more fun and exciting when it's played inside a fort :)
